Speranza22 is an international rugby team that was created to play in memory of Marco Speranza. Marco tragically died in a plane crash in his native Argentina in February 2013. Marco started playing rugby with the Abu Dhabi Harlequins when he was 15 years old and was immediately recognized as an exceptional talent. He played for the Arabian Gulf and for the Quins 1st and 2nd XV as a 18 and 19-year-old. 

The team bearing his name have since appeared at every Dubai Rugby Sevens. They have achieved the subsequent titles of: 2014 Finalists, 2015 Quarter-Finals, 2016 Plate Finalists and 2017 Plate and Trophy Finalists. Speranza22 have continued to grow, honouring Marco's incredible memory and supporting exceptional causes concurrently. 

Speranza 22 has already raised in excess 83,000 AED (£15,000) for these chosen causes over the last 4 years:
Maharashtra Mandal Abu Dhabi (MMAD) is a social group, bringing together the Marathi speaking Indian families who are residing in Abu Dhabi. MMAD focus their attention on organizing social and cultural events to nurture and maintain the values and ethics of their religion across all generations. 

Since the formation in 1977, MMAD have praised their members in aiding the development of vital transferable skills which can be adapted in academic, work and personal life. Their primary tool in conveying this education is through the method of entertainment.
